Description

Ruby is an F1 red abstract cavapoo female from Candy Cane (15 lbs) and Rowan (8 lbs).  She was born on 11/15/24.

Ruby’s left eye was injured when she was younger. It was huge and swollen and hazy with significant pressure, and we invested a lot to nurse her back to health. It took weeks of around the clock care. Her left eye is now normal color but smaller than the right eye, and her inner eyelid covers part of it. We do not know the long-term outcome for her eye and would love to find her a family who will love her regardless and provide her with the care she needs.

Because of this injury and subsequent left-side micropthalmia, we are offering Ruby at a fraction of her original adoption amount and as is to a pet home (spay required). We would particularly love it if we can find someone who also has vision challenges and will not mind her looking different or seeing differently than other puppies.

Ruby is very beautiful and has had a bunch of potty training and crate training under her belt and is doing great with all of it. She is the sweetest little thing. We expect her to be around 10-12 lbs full grown and is around 6 lbs currently. She is not a hyper or overly energetic pup.
