On Leap Day, 2020, we were blessed to donate one of our poodle pups to an awesome adoptive family. Mom and Dad adopted three siblings several years ago, two of whom are siblings and one whom is a little old older and on the Autism spectrum. Older brother’s therapist recommended the family an emotional support puppy for him, but we could also tell that the parents needed the dog for stress relief and therapy just as much as their kids did!

Our standard poodle puppy “Rook” from Sparrow x Thunder’s December 2019 litter became their “Shadow.” Shadow, a confident and patient pup, is a perfect fit for this family and their rough and tumble boys.  Their sons have done great at learning how to treat their puppy gently.
